If you're starting to use your digital SLR for the first time, it can be quite confusing to determine what all its functions mean as well as where to find them and how to use them.

The timer setting on a digtal SLR camera is the same as the timer setting on all other cameras, creating a lapse between when you focus the camera and when the shutter actually clicks.
