How to Use Arclab Thumb Studio

The freeware version of this program comes with lots of options, and if you were to upgrade, it will have even more. This article, however, is about the freeware version.

Go to Arclab and download the 10+ Mb file.

Install it wherever you want it . It is an executable file so you don't need a program to unzip it.

Once installed, run the program .

Check out the list of projects that you have available to you.

Examine the settings for your project. As you become more familiar with the software, you will probably change more and more.

Look through the projects and make a selection .

  • This article will be using the Violet option.
  • To navigate your way through the program, click on the tabs at the top or the arrows in the bottom left.

Start out with the image settings . Look at all of your choices and make any changes you would like.

Choose what options you want , like using Javascript, color of links, captions and font.

Start making selections of your images. You can choose a folder and/or individual images.

  • During the fairly short time it takes to 'load' the picture, you will see this screen.

Choose what to name it and where to store it .

Once you have created the project, upload it or open the folder and examine your work .

  • Notice the fairly unglamorous default names of the pictures.
  • In some projects, you might be limited to which ones will have a web integration function. Check the manual. However, once you have selected the images, you don't have to reselect them if you find you started the wrong type of project.

Upload your finished project and bask in the glory of a job well done! .
